THESPIAN REQUIREMENTS

Ready to Have a Good Time?
REQUIRED EVENTS:

*Meetings - Meetings take place every friday in the CHS Black box where we meet up and discuss what is new!

​

*Lock-In - Spend a night filled with bonding, friends, and fun! We do activities throughout the night to make the lock in a jampacked night of fun!

​

*Assist in at least one P.O. project - P.O. projects are projects that one must complete to be a Potential Officer! They range from things like hosting Inductions to organizing a fundraiser!

​

*Inductions - Here the new 2017-2018 Inductees get officially welcomed into the International Thespian Society!

​

*PO Event - The PO Event is where the Potential Officers showcase their leadership skills and work together to make a great event!

​

*Oscar Night - Here is the shot at your big moment! We recognize performers, techies, and directors for all their hard work over the year! The night consists of skits, songs, and of course OSCARS!

​

*SAFT (Southern Arizona Festival of Theater) - IE’s, One Acts, and more!! Here we compete among other schools to earn awards and for the potential to go to State!

​

*8 Hours of Build Day Time Per-semester - At the build days we build, paint, etc. to  put together all of our wonderful shows!

​

*One Crew Assignment Per-semester - Fulfill your Crew Assignment, and sign up to be a house crew member! We set up for the show, usher people into their seats, answer question, sell tickets and more!

​

Lights, Camera, Action! 

*Monologue Showcase - Intermediate Drama’s first appearance of the year is in The Monologue Showcase! Join us for a night filled with laughter, and hardship as they present monologues from four different plays to make you laugh and cry all night long!

​

*Advanced fall show - The Fall Show will be Advanced Dramas first production of the year. 

​

*The Children’s Show - Intermediate Drama presents the Children's Show for the school year! Join us for a fun show with jokes and laughs!

​

*The Spring Musical - The Spring Musical combines Advanced Drama and Show Choir to bring to you a mind-blowing musical! 

​

*Each of the Beginning One Acts - The Beginning Drama Class’s present The Beginning One Acts! Split into four one acts, join us for a night full of comedy, fun, and friends!

Let's Make a Difference! 

*Relay For Life - Here we walk to support lives have been affected by cancer. We raise money and walk the Empire track all night to show we will not give up on the fight against cancer.

​

*Crohn's Walk-  We walk to support and raise awareness for Crohn's Disease alongside our sister troupe, Empire High School!

​
